The Journey Continues
We have come a long way in the last few months, busily moving out of our previous facility and moving forward with the construction of the new one.
What has been happening...
The building construction has achieved many milestones so far. From acquiring our building permit, constructing interior walls, erecting the mezzanine, craning the HVAC unit and installing plumbing and piping, many new features have become visible. It is exciting to see imagination become reality, as we watch the building take shape.
Where we're at...
Now we are operating in a temporary office behind the new facility. The wiring is going in, HVAC is getting connected all while the drywall and priming proceeds in the new building. Seacans sure are handy!
Things are firming up!
The last of the concrete is now in. We had an amazing team of guys pump the concrete into the mezzanine area and level it all out. Those folks sure have a tough job and we were impressed at how efficient they were and getting all the material in and finished.
Where we're going
We are excited for the opportunities this new facility presents. There will be space for designing creative solutions, quiet space for bookkeeping, room to spread out testing equipment and open space for staging shipments. In the new, larger shop, we can design well-organized warehousing and manufacturing flows. We are also looking forward to expanding with taking on new staff to support our growth.
